On the 9th of April 2022, the Overberg Chess Federation held their first rapid tournament for 2022. 88 players from all over the Overberg took part, including some of our very own from the Hermanus Chess Club. This was the first federation tournament that has been hosted this year, excluding the school trials. Tournament format was as follows:

- 30/30 (no increment)

- Chessa rated
